About Us
Spectrum Noir has been around for longer than you might think. We began in 2012 as a small range of alcohol markers developed by our parent company, Crafter’s Companion. The original Spectrum Noir alcohol-marker went through several improvements and iterations. Then before long, artist’s quality colored pencils were added to the line-up, with the same ethos of making professional performance accessible for everyone.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Would buy again, but not interlock them side by side
I am pleased with these trays because they stack on top of each other nicely and all the markets are easy to access. They arrived in good condition with no shipping damage, which means they were packed properly. I took off a star because it shows them side by side, but mine do not interlock. There are grooves to interlock, but I tried and two trays are now stuck together because they didn’t go together completely nor will they pull apart, making them unusable.
I do not use these for markers, I use them for beads. I put my beads into test tubes and put the test tubes on these trays. It is an outstanding way to be able at a quick glance to see what beads I have. The trays stack together beautifully vertically but not as good horizontally. One note, this brand is made by the company that makes the more expensive tray. I have both and they connect together just fine. I've stacked them as high as 8 high with no issue of weight from the beads. I will continue to buy more trays as needed.
Not only do these stack, but they also connect side-by-side. For the complete set of Spectrum Noir (216 pens) you need three of these 4-packs and one 6-pack. Very sturdy and heavy duty (I tapped on mine with hammer when connecting side-by-side and not a mark).
These storage trays are very nice and helpful, I've gone back and bought more after each purchase. They are easy to put together vertically but hard to do horizontally.
Man muss dann einfach nehmen, was da ist. Aber dafür ist es wirklich ein gutes Gestell.

I am new to alcohol ink markers so I have not been loyal to any one brand but grabbing whatever is on sale, just to see if I'll keep on with colouring this way. So, because of that I have different length and width markers to have to fit all in one organization system. This one showed up in Warehouse Deals so I grabbed it worrying the whole while if my long Tombow alcohol markers from Michaels would fit. No worries on that front. They do hang out of the trays a bit but no more than in the plastic shipping trays the markers come with (in the box.) I have some Copic, Spectrum Noir, the Tombows and Sakura Archival ink pens and it works as it should, keeping them all in one place. The aesthetics of it - I can't wax too poetic as it is a blue tinted plastic holding items that do not lend themselves to a cohesively 'calm' look with different lengths and colours poking out of it like a tie dyed porcupine but I'll get used to it.
