I wanted a pair of matching lamps for the two bookcases in our living room. These are beautiful and the touch lamp was a bonus. What disappointed me was the poor packaging. The lamps and shades were in a large box with no protection at all. No bubble wrap. No paper. No air bags. Nothing except two pieces of cardboard that were thrown in the box which did not protect the lamps or shades at all.
So, bottom line is this. I love the lamps but the shipping practices of this seller leave much to be desired. I am convinced the lamps were damaged since they do not throw off the same amount of light. I am returning these and will order a different item.
