I was in the market for a pair bifocal sunglasses. I did not want any of that polarized nonsense (it's terrible when looking at screens). I wanted good style, great fit, and above all function, along with something that isn't clearly cheap and will fall apart. These Foster Grants fit the bill perfectly. The style is great, they remind me of some Ray Bans I used to have. The lenses are medium dark, so not too dark, nor light, just about right. The bifocal works perfectly for reading my phone. The build is good. The plastic is a nice material and doesn't look cheap like those 4 per pack cheapos that everyone was complaining about breaking. And it came with a nice carry soft carry sack. Good buy.

Bifocals
The lenses are something like "Bifocals": The largest part of the lens is not magnified, only a small semicircular section at the bottom of each lens is magnified. So it may not be what you expect, however.... I need these for driving so I can reduce the blazing sunlight as normal sunglasses do, with the added advantage that I can also look down at Google Maps on my phone and actually see the typeface of my upcoming exit (I have a 15 year-old car with no navigation capability, so I have to use the phone). They should also be as functional at the beach when reading a book, and then looking up to see what the tide brings in, all without having to lift the glasses up.
