Beautiful Tinsel String
I love May Arts products. This is metallic tinsel string is one of my favorites. I love both the gold and the silver. I string holiday gift tags and tied small gift boxes with this string as well as use it in craft projects for my business. The ends do fray when cut so I melt them with a heat gun to seal the frayed ends and it works well. I sometimes ties the ends in knots but I prefer sealing with heat. One of the plastic spools was broken in half when I received it. The broken edges are sharp and I had to throw away the broken spool spool and rewind the string on a cardboard spool. There were no broken pieces inside the shipping bag so someone tucked a broken spool and shipped it that way. But the string is great so I'm glad to have it.

    I've been using this as a sewn on trim for some renaissance garb that I'm making and it works awesome!! Sewing it down with a small enough zigzag stitch and a matching thread color makes the stitching almost invisible!
