Only one device with the same extension can be used at a time. The ErisBusinessSystem four line operation phone is packed with the best VTech features and manage calls from 1-4 telephone lines simultaneously.

The UP407is a full-duplex speakerphone that can keep up with your calls and increase participation by allowing parties on both ends to speak and be heard at the same time. One can store 50 names and numbers and 200 call history. Additional features include 3 languages LCD prompt, One-touch setting, hearing aid-compatible and auto line selection.

    The items do not function well for a small business. If you have more than one phone in the office (we ordered 4), if someone else tries to pick up a line it hangs up on all callers. Defeats the purpose of having a 4 line phone when you can't use all lines. Additionally, the lines get stuck on and will not turn off without unplugging the entire unit. One unit had a non-working handset. When I requested a new handset, they sent me a replacement cordless phone. I tried to call the company and get the right item, but the phone (this vtech) had so much static and the person on the other end had too thick of an accent to understand, I just ended up hanging up after about ten minutes. Overall, this phone system did not function. We finally ordered an entirely new phone system and am now having trouble getting a refund. Do not order these phones and I would be hesitant to buy from Isave again.

    bought this to use with the main console. it worked for 3 or 4 months and stopped working. powerelectronics2011 won't take responsibility outside of 30 days and told me to contact the manufacturer. manufacturer says this model has been out of production for years and no longer supports this model and thus the warranty is useless. powerelectronics made promises to fix or refund this product but it was all lies.

    I gave this a 3 star because it was recommended by amazon to go with the VTech CM18245 Console by them. I do not know how it works because it does not work with that console, you need the UP Console. For the CM system you need the CM_____ Hand set
