Perfect for making leather belts, guitar straps, rifle slings, luggage straps and more. No snaps attached. Width indicates buckle size needed. The actual width strap is approximately 1/16" (0,2 cm) less to better accomidate buckle. Strap thickenss is 8 to 9 oz. (1/8" - 3.2mm).

    It's not really what I thought I was getting. The strip is 1-3/16", not 1.25 as advertised. And that can make a big difference in some craft work. At least, it makes a difference in mine. It also tells you that the mfg is more interested in "shaving" the quality than in providing a good product.

    On the other hand, the basic leather's not bad. I can turn it into something other than what I had planned, so it's not a total loss. I think maybe after spending a lifetime getting shafted by Tandy products from one division after another, I'm just tired of the whole thing.
