This Memphis welder men's gloves with self hemmed cuff comes in gunn pattern, Sewn with Kevlar, thumb and palm pad with foam lining. Palm and back is made of double reinforced shoulder split cow leather and 1.3/1.4-mm thickness. gloves are 4mil foam and red jersey 100-Percent cotton palm, black cotton drill cuff lining and wing thumb type. Single/double yellow Kevlar thread stitching with 8 stitches to an inch and gold welting on all seams. Can be used for welding and heat applications, plus all general purpose applications requiring heat, flame or spark protection. Available in blue color and xx-large size. Measures 13-Inch length.

BUT someone at the place these are made got it in their head to put the size/manufacturer label on the back of one of the gloves. No possible way to take this off by hand. Only can be done with a wire brush...you know, the one used to remove slag? As you can see from the pictures, it kinda jacks up the back of the glove. Just hope it doesn't affect how much heat is transferred when welding. That would make these close to useless. Anyway, I hope they still work despite looking like crap.

I currently have a couple of these exact 2XL gloves and these new ones are much smaller than the old ones. I would say that these 2XL gloves that are now made in China “might be” at best an XL. If you can find these gloves in your size then you will have gloves that will last a very long time. I use mine for cutting, splitting, stacking and use them sometimes to rearrange burning wood in my wood stove without needing tools and can get a good 4-5 years out of a pair of glove’s before I might see a small hole on one of the fingers starting to form. The seller was great and I got a refund for all three pairs of gloves.
