So here's the thing about going back to work while nursing- all those comfy nursing bras that you wore around the house for the first few weeks are not going to work under "real world" clothes! I lived in my Bravado and sleep bras for 6 weeks with my first pregnancy, but when it was time to go back to the office, I quickly realized that I needed something with actual separation and support. My sweaters, blouses and dresses aren't really sports-bra friendly, if you know what I mean.

Finding a nursing bra that looked like a "real bra", however, was really hard for me! At a 36G (36F non-nursing), supportive bras weren't exactly leaping off the shelves at my local Target. Even the maternity store at the mall didn't carry anything in my size that could provide two distinct boobs instead of a smooshed-together shelf chest. I read somewhere that Nordstroms carried nursing bras, so I thought I would give it a try and thank goodness I did! The saleswoman was super nice while doing my fitting- no small thing for me at the time since I was simultaneously leaking milk and crying in a panic that I was going to be heading to work the next week with udders instead of breasts. She brought in a selection of three bras- one "shelf boob" style, one hideously ugly and then... Supportive? Check. Full coverage? Check. Actually provides the appearance of two separate breasts? Check. AND it's lacy and pretty!

I wore the living daylights out of that bra for 8 straight months and then ordered another on Amazon when the underwire in the original finally snapped. I can't fault Le Mystere for this- I literally wore the one bra every single day for months on end, so I felt it had more than earned it's keep. I know that the price tag is a little high compared to other bras, but I cannot stress enough how worth it that $70 price tag was when all was said and done. I am due with baby #2 in a few weeks and I just ordered another one. I figure having two in rotation will cut down my risk of an early demise.

    Pros:
    -Comfortable
-SUPPORTIVE (I joked to my husband that it is like having two hands holding me up all day)
-Gives great lift and separation (no more shelf boob!)
-SO pretty (like "real bra pretty, not just nursing bra pretty...)
-Held up amazing well considering the abuse I put it through
-Random secondary benefit- the molded cups provide a nice little lift under your breast during feedings. This meant that I didn't have to hold my boob during the whole feeding like I did with the flimsier bras.

    Cons:
    -Expensive (Totally worth it, though!)

Finally! I have found a nursing bra that is comfortable, sexy, supportive, and folds down easily for nursing. This bra is gorgeous! It gives me such a beautiful shape. It has molded cups that shape wonderfully without being too heavy. The padding is just enough for no show through without weighing you down. It so supportive. This gives you a very high rounded shape - very 1950s bombshell. I prefer the classic shape, but you may not like it if you want something lower or more natural. I feel like a pin-up model in this. I don't agree with other reviewers that feel this is uncomfortable or that it needs a break-in period. This fit like a glove right out of the box. Unless you are comparing it to the shelf-bra nursing tanks or wireless bras, this is comfy. Only con I can think of it that this is not exactly a one hand clasp. It takes me two to undo the nursing clasp. Being so structured, this is probably not best immediately postpartum when your milk supply is large and your breasts are tender. I would find this best once your supply is stable and your rib cage has gone down a bit.

NOTE - I bought this in two sizes a 36C and a 38C. The 36 had thinner straps and 3 hooks. The 38 has thicker, wider straps and 4 hooks. Just FYI. One is more delicate, the other a bit heavier and more supportive. I preferred the thinner straps, so I exchanged.

This nursing bra does not fit me well. I wear a 32 D in all other nursing bras I have (32 C Pre-pregnancy) and after reading several reviews suggesting to order up a band size, I decided to order a 34 D. The bra fits around me, but I have to have it on the smallest back hooks. The straps are not fully adjustable. I have the straps as short as they will go and they are still too loose and slip off my shoulder and therefore make the bra less supportive giving little lift. I am petite ( 5'2" 120 lbs) and often have this issue with bras. The cups fit well so I am not sure if a different size would have helped or not. This bra also makes my boobs very cone shaped under clothes and does not look good. It does seem to be well made and is prettier than many other nursing bras. I am sad I missed the return window for returning this bra and only wear it when my other nursing bras are dirty.

I bought this bra because it is pretty and I'm tired of plain ugly nursing bras. It is good quality and pretty but I don't wear it much because it is really stiff. I have to tuck it down when I'm nursing and it is not comfortable. It is true to size though. All and all if you don't mind the stiffness then it is a good bra.

Showed up with another Amazon order and I didn't realize it was in the bottom of the box until weeks had passed and I was about to email asking where it was. This is the WORST itchiest bra I have ever gotten. I would have returned it had I not lost ALL of the packaging and hadn't realized I was past the time(mom brain).Band size is small, order a size up. The support is freaking amazing IF you can get past the scratching, itchy, digging in of the lace and band. If you need those droopy mom boobs shoved back the way they were before breastfeeding those little monsters this is the bra to get. I'd suggest you only wear it on date night though. Padding is thick enough to cover up any accidental leaks. But don't leave it on too long it will be the definite cause of some major clogged ducts!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gives tons of support!
Reviewed in Canada on January 27, 2023
I've had this bra for several months, and it was just what I was looking for. While most nursing bras focus on comfort, I was wanting something to give me a nice shape and support with a classic underwire. This bra was a little uncomfortable at first, but I was very pleased by the structure and support it gives. After months of wearing and washing, it has held up considerably well. Wish the straps were fully adjustable.

5.0 out of 5 stars My first nursing bra
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 20, 2018
I had to buy a nursing bra to take to the hospital. There is a big variety of nursing bras on the internet but all seemed to be boring, not sex, no push-up, not padded. I ordered Le Mystere as it was different to the other ones. It fits perfectly. It does not look ugly but sexy! No one would say it is a nursing bra! Very happy with this purchase. Aiming to order different ones from the same brand as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great quality but stiff.
Reviewed in Canada on September 7, 2022
Love it but was between sizes and sized up when I should have sized down. I normally wear a 36DDD at VS and went with a 36 H on here, according to measurement guide. I should have gone down to a 36F or even 38F. The cups have a bit too much room and the band is tighter than my other brands. When breastfeeding, the fold-down cup was a little stiff to pull down and fold over, but still functional. All-in-all looks much nicer than anything in Canada I could find.

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 4, 2015
Loved this bra for the shape and fit. It also looks much better under clothes than any other I have. As the other review says it is a bit stiffer than it looks but I have found it easier to use after its been washed lots and i am pleased to say it still looks great after all that washing.
I would like to get another when they have my size back in. I have really appreciated finding a nursing bra that makes you feel and look good.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good support but to ridged, makes my ever changing breasts look even bigger
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 27, 2014
Did not expect it to be so ridged and as padded x not easy to access breast due to this. It looks like it should be softer and less moulded in the pic.
