My headline says it all but I wanted to address a concern I see in the comments about assembly. First of all, use the allen wrench tool for your drill motor that they provide. This is an old Ikea trick that I have used for years but I always had to saw their J-shaped wrench with a hacksaw. Make sure you set the clutch correctly so you don't over-tighten. You can hand tighten with the T-wrench when you are done. Second, get a friend to hold the first couple of pieces together as you screw them together. They are heavy. Third, push both pieces together so the screw is screwing into the pilot hole and not pulling both pieces together. And be careful, it's easy to scratch the screws. You can touch up paint them later. I did.
Follow the directions and assemble in the order they show. It's pretty easy until you come to the last 4 pieces that support the legs. Some people complained that they had received incorrect pieces or the pieces they received were cut wrong. Maybe, but probably not.
There are 2 short pieces and 2 long pieces. This is pretty easy to figure out. What’s difficult is differentiating between a straight angle and a compound angle. If you are even slightly dyslexic go get a friend. A compound angle means that there are 2 angles in one cut. All ends have at least one angle but one end has 2. Turn it around and if one bevel has a 90-degree face, that's the straight angle. If it doesn’t, that’s the compound angle. Trouble is there's a right side short piece and a left-hand short piece. Look at their diagram to determine which is which before you start screwing them in. The odds of you getting a wrong piece are quite low so study the pieces well. The straight angle goes towards the front. All the information is on their sheet but it can get a little confusing. It would have been nice if they had put little stickers that said LHS (left hand short) and LHL (left hand long) but they didn't.
Thoroughly confused? Sorry. I’d take a picture but I already assembled the chairs. Love them.
