Great Exercise Ball - Recommend!

- Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2014The ball is good. The pump is a joke. Forget any hand pump or foot pump that may be supplied with the ball. Using those will give you more strain than you would get using the ball for a year! :)
Seriously, why do the express size in terms of diameter, measured in centimeters? It is extremely difficult to inflate a ball to that specification. First, you have to convert cm to inches (if you're on the American standard). Then, you have to concoct some way of measuring the diameter of a sphere, when it is inflated. It is not impossible but it is difficult and requires some ingenuity.
I've found a fool-proof method. I use a small electric compressor which has an adapter on the hose that fits the input of the ball. The compressor also has a psi dial. I set it to 20-25 psi. The ball inflates quickly, the height is perfect.
You may need to make some small adjustment. Truly, "one size does not fit all". Each ball specifies a range of heights. Not all people are the same. Even if they are the same height, leg and torso proportions may differ. So will weight, affecting how much the ball will be depressed, when sat upon.
As for this ProSource, the material seems to be heavy weight and durable. I am very satisfied with the product and hope that it endures (I've only had it a few days).
Again, I truly believe the psi and compressor inflation method is the best method.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2015Amazon CustomerIt's been 11 days since I ditched the computer chair. I won't use a normal chair again. This is a 75cm ball. I'm 5' 8" and 227 LBS, male. The pump is lame but it works ok. I don't pump it full. I did keep it full at first but I've found doing my exercises with it work better if it's partially deflated. You'll be happy with this I'm sure. I couldn't stand buying those cheap office chairs every so many months and just sit there and scratch my head as to what I was going to do. I hope this product works for you. I won't use a chair again. I'll be getting a second one at some point here. Not sure which brand though, this brand is just fine, but black is pretty boring. Have fun playing with your balls!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2015I bought the 55 cm size as I already own 65 cm and 75 cm balls (there are online videos on uTube as to ball sizing). It's a great ball.
Arrives in a cardboard box and a sealed platic bag. It has the foot pump, which worked for me to inflate the ball, and two long "stoppers" of plastic to seal the hole.
It is 55cm, it seems, which is small and I use it for a travel/hotel exercise ball. It's basically taking the place of a weight bench, and as such, it seems robust--I will update if it pops.
I have other balls that have a matte finish, like the Gaiam balls, and those pick up much less floor lint and crap than this ball. One use and it already looks awful. Its sort of sticky, which is great so that you don't slide off, but horrific for dust bunnies. If youre carpet is due for a cleaning, this ball will do it. I much prefer the Gaiam balls for finish and texture.
That said, this ball blows up nicely, although not prefectly round. After leaving it inflated for three days to "air out", it still wobbles in a sort of egg-ish way when I spin it in the air. My Gaiam balls do not do this--they are spherical.
I do like that this ball came without a useless DVD, though. I hate paying for that kind of needless accessory.
Four stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2014These were supposed to be 65 cm and ended up not being as large as they should have been. Much smaller than they should have been. foot pumps are pretty flimsy but do the trick. The balls themselves are super durable so far and the kids in my classroom love sitting on them. We had to lower the desks to use them. Worked out ok but they should have been able to blow up to the 65 cm size.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2015Purchased it for light home use and product developed a hole after less than two months. Will not stay inflated and now totally useless. We purchased a different, slightly more expensive exercise ball (theraband pro) to replace this one, and the difference was immediately apparent. The walls on this ball are so flimsy. The pump is cheap and worthless (we used a bike pump instead). Save your money and spend a little more for a better product you won't have to replace in a few weeks.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2015This is amazing for the price! I literally use it as a chair, and as long as I inflate it slightly every two weeks it's been fine. Warning: Just because these things are anti-burst doesn't mean they can't break in other ways... seriously... my boyfriend has owned three of these, and he's broken them twice by leaving it too close to the heater and it melted, and once because it came with a puncture in it... so don't let the ball near any sharp objects.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2015The foot pump was nice. However, I had the stupid thing for just over 4 months and it popped. I was sitting on it (it was on a hardwood floor) when suddenly I heard a loud noise and found myself on the ground. Nothing sharp to puncture it nor was it on an irregular/abrasive surface. While I feel fine, I'm now going to be super paranoid over my little womb squatter.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2015Great exercise ball - I bought it to use sitting at a desk and it is very comfortable indeed. The pump it comes with is not fantastic, but if you don't have another way of pumping it up (I used an electronic pump), then it will do the job fine. Was packaged well and arrived quickly. Recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars La recomiendo 100%
La calidad está súper buena. Sin olor. A mí ma encantó esa pelota. No pude encontrar en las tiendas de 75 cm. Y que venden en las tiendas tienen olor feo, hasta marcas famosos como reebook.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems good - Use a tire inflation station to make life easier!
Just blew it up, seems great! Cannot say to the durability of the product.
The foot pump only gets you so far (as does breathing air into it). Inflation needs to be at a high enough pressure to combat the ball's internal pressure. So, we just used a tire inflation station (home compressor ought to work as well) in order to get to 65cm.
I wouldn't trust the reviews that say it isn't as large as advertised - sounds like they just didn't inflate with enough pressure.

3.0 out of 5 stars this product is pretty good. Air does seem to be deflating slowly ...
For the cost, this product is pretty good. Air does seem to be deflating slowly but I believe that is due to use. The pump that comes with the product is fairly useless though, I found it easier to just blow the ball up with my breath.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for adhd kid in class
Bought to help adhd son stay put behind his desk. Works great. Bought cheaper one for younger daughter, it bursted after 1 month. This ball may be more expensive... but it's worth it. Son, 11 years, 70 lbs, 5' = ball 65 cm

2.0 out of 5 stars Popped Quickly
This product didn't last very long - it was only 2 weeks before a hole popped in the side (ripped)
It is a shame because it is the perfect size
