Just went out hunting one time in it. Of course, I just put a gortex camo jacket over it since the hoodie is bright red. In the morning, I didn't bring the hoodie and it was cold enough that I couldn't stand still for more than 20 minutes in the gore tex jacket. In the afternoon, it was similar temp, mid 40s and wind blowing. I sat in a tree stand for over an hour and was able to be just fine with this on high. I'm already hooked on this thing. Layer it under something windproof for maximum heat retention. Also, I got an extra battery off ebay. I really like how the battery is off to the side in the hoodie so a backpack doesn't push the battery into your back. Also, the hoodie is well made and attractive and can be worn on it's own even without the battery pack which is a nice bonus, hey a new light weight jacket. Also, I can wear this when not hunting because it looks nice, especially with the light. It's all good so far. A little big on me but the XL was by far the best price for the kit so I knew it was going to be a little big. Cuffs work great and keep the sleeves from covering my hands. I had worried about that when I ordered since I knew I was ordering a size too large.
