    I purchased two pairs of these Danskin Capris as an Impulse Buy during a flash sale, and fortunately the purchase paid off! I wholeheartedly recommend this product and give it 5/5 stars! I am giving this product X out of X stars because it is very comfortable and is versatile: the fit is very flattering and does not cling to any odd places.

    As a full time working mom, I need clothing that is high-quality, easy to wash and wear, and works with my existing wardrobe. I felt comfortable wearing these capris out to eat, to yoga, and on travel. These capris do not fall down, and wash/wear well while on the road. They do have some stretch so you will want to wash them cold and line dry; I did accidentally send them through the dryer once by mistake and they tightened up but did not shrink too badly. I have some upcoming trips to conservative countries and plan to take these pants because they are modest and low maintenance to wear in remote locations.

    About me: As a yogi, full-time boss lady & new mom who travels often for work and play, I need athleisure wear that works for my yoga practice, to wear around the house, and is versatile enough to travel well. If it helps, I usually wear a size S/M and am 5’4’’ and 130 lbs.

    Because of the design I think this type of garment feels so good with just a bit of light compression that it can also serve dual purposes. To me this is also an ideal underwear garment. For some reason the fibers in the garment are constructed to provide a real soft cushioning feel. They are more comfortable than any other underwear I have ever bought. I recommend these to any buyers who need a little more support while driving, flying, hiking. Simply put this is the finest garment I have ever bought that gives a light comfortable feeling of support. Its unusual to say that you love a product this much but I really appreciate the quality of this garment immensely. I would recommend these obviously for exercise and also for work as an ideal undergarment.
    If you work in field type of environments such as law enforcement, medical, or anything that requires continual movement these are a perfect garment to go under work clothes. Also this an ideal garment for layering to keep vital heat in if you ever needed to. Because they are so comfortable, can be worn during daily activities, and easy slept in they are a superior garment for many versatile activities.

    I have worn Danskin leggings for the past 5 years. I wore their older style, the ones that were made with cotton and spandex, until the spandex threads started coming out of the woven material. At that point I decided to order new pairs (I already had 4) and found they didn't make that style any more! I ordered this new style and they fit the same way as the old style (with a slightly higher waist) and much sleeker look (they are also more true black than cotton leggings ever are after a few washings). I was nervous that they weren't cotton, and they definitely don't feel like cotton, but they don't feel like weird workout clothing material either. Overall, I am happy with them. But if Danskin brings back the older style, I will be the first one to order them!

    I had read in comments to order a smaller size or they will slide down. I normally wear a medium in regular denim capri pants. These will fit but are way snugger than I feel comfortable wearing. So one size up is what I am exchanging these for. I like the look of them and quality. It is a very dark navy. I'd say a dark blue/black shade.

    Let me start by saying that you can trust this review, as I didn't get paid by anyone to write it.

    I purchased my 1st pair of Danskin leggings about 25 years ago. I still have one pair that not only has held up after 20 years of wear, but look almost as good as new. I LOVE these leggings. I understand they have been taken over by a different manufacturer, and after reading the reviews from a handful of long time wearers, I was hesitant to buy. But I did and am extremely happy with my purchase! The material is a perfect 3 season weight - not as thick as the originals, but not see through either. These have a matte finish. They made an improvement to the crotch and gusseted it. I had no problems whatsoever with the stitching. However, if you do purchase, be aware of the sizing as it is off. As others have stated, they run big. I hesitated getting a size smaller, but they fit perfectly. Yes, the waist is a little high, but at least it doesn't give me a muffin top. And who tucks a top into leggings anyway? I can't make any claims as to how long these will hold up. I intend to wash by washing machine and air dry, like I do all my leggings. I use these for every day wear. And if I want to dress them up a little, these capris look great with heels. Love 'em so much am purchasing a back up pair, out of fear that they might be discontinued.

    I want to make a note about Amazon and their terrific customer service. My package was marked online as "delivered". They might have been delivered to someone, somewhere. But not me. I called Amazon that very day, and they sent a replacement pair, upgraded the shipping, and didn't hesitate to accommodate me..... no questions asked.

    I had a pair of Danskin leggings for more years than I care to remember. They were soft, supple and fitted really well. This pair is of a different material and is thicker and feels strange compared to the old ones. Although I chose the appropriate size from the chart, they are rather large and slide down easily. Definitely not as comfortable as I expected.

    Order arrived on time. I ordered a medium and I was worried that it might be too tight, as I am in between sizes, however when I tried them on realized that they are loose around the waist. Despite the fact that I am quite curvy they fail to stay in place and I have to stop every few steps to pull them up, which is very annoying.
    The quality is OK but my old danskin pair feels much better and is thicker.
