- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2020I bought this controller because I love glowing controllers and wanted something that did so to play my games on. But sadly the input for going right is stuck so the characters on screen will go right, even if I'm not pushing any buttons. Maybe I just got unlucky but it still makes me sad, since some of my games won't even accept any other input because of the stsuck button.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2016With these USB gamepads, you really don't know until you try them, but the original Nintendo gamepad still has the best action for the buttons and D-pad. However, for a knockoff, this is pretty good.
If there are any future revisions, rather than try for sheer accuracy, shoulder triggers and an extra row of buttons should be added. I don't see much of a point in this when you can get a SNES controller that has the extra buttons. I think if you are buying this, it's because you want the actual NES feel and it's not quite there.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2016Hi I'm EmuCain here to review the Retro-Link Wired NES USB Controller. I read reviews about it and many seemed positive. I have a thing for LEDs so I took a chance on it. When it arrived it was in a beautiful box and was easy to remove. Plugged it up and started my NES Emulator the Jnes 1.1. The controller configure went smoothly and it instantly played every game I checked out. The controller it's self is not flimsy and doesn't creak as some controllers do when cheaply made. The buttons are responsive and seem to be able to take the wear and tear that the original could.
If you are wondering if this is a good purchase? Wonder no more it is. Gives the same style and feel the original did. I love it and suggest any old timer who loved the original 8 Bit NES system to get it.
