Product Description

Camp Chef pellets offer better flavor and a more efficient burn. Why? Unlike most pellets available, Camp Chef pellets are not a byproduct but rather 100% pure virgin hardwood. No oils, chemicals or binders added. The kiln dried process creates low moisture content for a very dry, hot burning pellet. A hotter burning pellet means it burns less to maintain your desired temperature, giving you more pellets for your next barbecue and less ash to clean. These pure virgin hardwood pellets will give you consistent results bag after bag.

Excellent burning pellets. I have a Traeger smoker These pellets are less expensive, burn more evenly and consistently as occasionally the Traeger pellets would die out even though the hopper was full.

These arrived perfect. Used on a Traeger Lil Tex and was moderately dissapointed with these. Smoked up good, but the temperature wouldn't go above 330. It's about 28 degrees outside, but next time I will stick with Traeger pellets.

I see no difference in these from the Traeger brand. We have experienced no issues with them.

Haven’t tried the pellets before but the price per pound compared to the chips was attractive. I learned right away that unlike the wood chips, don’t soak these in water. They swell up and crumble. Use them as is. Though they give off good smoke, I found that I had to add them more often to maintain the level of smoke I like. Other than that they worked fine and my smoked salmon taste great!

Used this for my Thanksgiving turkey, and also cooked a pork loin and Boston butt with it. Everything tasted great, and no issues in the grill, although having a camp chef brand grill probably makes this brand ideal for me.
