      Installed on 2017 RAM,THE ONLY REAL PROBLEM was the breather hose is a little to short, and to put it on requires some real hard pulling and clamping with the clamp. It needs to be a few inches longer and would have been easy... the truck does sound better and I like the acceleration. Maybe a couple mpg increase, also.

      I like everything besides the horrible, hard rubber grommet for the MAF sensor. It was ur hardest part of the assembly and seemed impossible to get the darn thing to cooperate I ended up cutting the thing a little and scrapping the tube also so be careful. The filter housing square housing piece is quite bulky and not quite appealing to the eye I was hoping for a more dropped down into the current spot look but they just use the existing intake plastic box for the design...a little lacking but easy to install even if the instructions are not very specific but with a little mechanical inclination you will be fine. It's the cheapest I've seen who knows if a more expensive brand or model would be better in those areas.

      I installed this around June of 2018 it is now June of 2020 and on the way home a couple days back I could tell my truck sounded different than normal. I opened the hood and noticed that the air cleaner was not on. I then noticed that the rubber had deteriorated. I then started examining the rest of the intake and noticed that all of the rubber was deteriorating. This should not happened after 2 years. I'll contact the manufacture to see if any of this would be covered and I'll update my review with their response.

      Note: I had a similar intake made by a different company on my last truck for 10+ years. Not to say any names though it started with a K and ended with an N. ;) It was still in great shape after 10 years.

      While the grommet to hold the mass air sensor is a bit of a pain a very little soap on the rubber is a big help the look is great and the design is genius as you don't have to remove the bottom housing of the air box the sound it's amazing brings a hemi to life while the mpg increase is minimal around .5 mpg the life throttle response is worth the price by itself

      Pretty decent intake, the rubber grommet for the sensor is virtually impossible to install, but after putting it in the microwave for a bit it was super easy. (Install the sensor into the grommet while its still warm/soft as-well) Also i would recommend using different clamps since the ones provided are still quite loose after tightening them all the way.

      This product really opened up my engine on my 5.7l hemi. I would have gladly give it 5 stars except the machined tube came with a bunch of loose flaked metal inside of it. I removed it all myself, which took a while, but had I not noticed it could have been disastrous to the engine. Make sure to keep your eyes open for this. Also the rubber grommet for the IAT was a little on the hard side to put in (the rubber was extremely hard) and I think I'm going to require a new one.

      Installed on my 2015 sport ram 1500 5.7L V8 crew cab 4x4. Clamp holding the filter to the plastic piece isn’t strong enough to hold the filter on so the filter kept falling off. The black hose is a little short so it had a kink in it. Ended up changing the clamp and the hose but the rest is awesome and fits good
