    This is a joke! who engineered this pump. I wish it actually looked like the picture, that is the correct design. When it collapses 2 inches to fit the tank the corrugated supply line jams the float arm lever.Now I have 2 to return.Mine is a 2002 standard wheel base trailblazer .See the pics.I have used and recommended airtex many times and I can't believe how bad they dropped the ball on this application.Shame on you Airtex. Oh yeah by the way I am a master auto tech and this pump is useless for the application .

      The pump looks like it should fit, however, the discharge tube exits the pump inline rather than as the OEM that uses a 90. When the pump is installed the tube pushes outward and binds the float arm so 1/4 tank is always indicated. This is a real pissoff having to pull the tank twice, and figure out a fix to an item that is new. When removed, the gasket had swollen to a diameter about 1 inch larger than the fixture and further complicates the job. I have used other Airtex pumps and been satisfied, but having to do a miserable job twice for factory oversight displeases me to the MAX. So even though the pump works fine, the fuel level sender does not. I tied the tube to the slide, but the tube may collapse in time,if your tank requires the pump to collapse (it's spring loaded) check for the bind before installation!!

The best part was that it worked perfectly once it was installed. The price was much cheaper then any auto parts in town. This is the second Airtex fuel pump I've bought thru Amazon.       well it screeched like a bad beak caliper when I installed it.. eventually got quieter and still works for now. At least they leave you stranded in the most expensive way possible. This is my third pump, two previous ones were even cheaper and much worse. Cut a access panel in floor so I can change on the fly...LOL
