I had been searching for an overhead light that would replace my old apartment lighting fixture. I was coming up short with flush mounts that didn't look cheap and could accommodate two bulbs with at least 75 wattage in each bulb. I was hoping for a schoolhouse fixture, but they only come in one bulb options. This one fit the bill admirably- Vintage looking enough, and very solid. Works perfectly in my kitchen. My lighting installer also put it on a dimmer, so I have as little or as much light as I need. Very happy with this purchase. The globe is a substantial weight, not one of those cheap-o ones. This is a solid piece. Highly recommended.
