Not sure why I tried these cheaper alternatives. Maybe because I didn’t like the standard blades for my d130. These came very sharp out of the box. They are indeed high lift blades. I had areas of lawn that were a bit high as I waited for the weather to break. Usually I get one or two clogs but these performed the best ever for my bagger. Gator blades didn’t cut as good as these! It’s worth the extra money. Just sharpen them one year and it comes out to the same cost as these alternatives. 👍

I always thought that it was normal for a bagger to clog when cutting that thick springtime grass. But someone told me that I was wrong. With the right blades, you could cut and bag the thickest and wettest grass around and never get a clog. They told me to buy these. My grass is growing extremely fast, it’s very thick, full of moisture, and the ground is still wet from the rain we had. I couldn’t believe it. They were right. My bagger never clogged. Not a single time. I wish I would’ve known about these years ago. John Deere claims their “multi use original blades” are fine for bagging. They’re not. Not even close. If you bag, you NEED these.
