Really nice serum

Nice but expensive
I recently tried a sample of SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, and while I can see why it has such a cult following, I have some reservations. The texture is lightweight, and it absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. After using it for a few days, I did notice a slight improvement in my skin’s radiance, and it felt smoother, but the results weren’t as dramatic as I expected for such a high-end product. The biggest downside for me is the price. Even with the sample size, it’s clear that this product comes with a hefty price tag, and I’m not sure the benefits justify the cost. While it provides decent hydration and a mild glow, other essences or toners at a fraction of the price can deliver similar results without the financial commitment. I didn’t notice any significant changes in skin texture or fine lines, which made it harder to justify the splurge. There are better
I am big into facial essences and have tried pretty a lot of them by now. Although SK-II is not necessarily bad I am not sure it is worth the hype and price. Maybe I have not tried it long enough (there are people that have been using it for years) but on the other hand some other essences have showed me visible results faster (and honestly felt better too). I might give it a shot next time I go to Japan and get the XL bottle. In the meantime I’d recommend Tatcha essence or my favorite Sulwhasoo.
