Back by popular demand, the MXR M117R Flanger effects pedal creates a variety of wild sounds from dynamic jet plane or cool space effects to short delay, chorus and vibrato. You have complete control of the filter so you can sculpt the sound you want. Back off the Width setting to zero to disengage auto-sweep, then use the Manual knob to physically place the effect anywhere along the frequency spectrum, Use with guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals.

The M117R effects pedal has four knobs and a footswitch. The footswitch toggles the flanger effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on). The Manual knob selects the frequency center of the effect when auto-sweep is disengaged. The Width knob at zero disengages auto-sweep, but when you rotate it clockwise, it increases the total phase sweep of the effect. The Speed knob modulates rate of effect. The Regen knob feeds the effect back onto itself at adjustable intensity, increasing the total phase effect.

Powered by battery or included Dunlop ECB-004 AC adapter.

    It's an integral part of my rig. All of the flanger sounds in my head are in this box. Tried one previously and the tone suck was horrible. MXR has clearly fixed this issue now that it's true-bypass. Great pedal!

    Sonically, this pedal is the best flange I have EVER heard. It is versatile, and it actually sounds good, unlike so many others (Boss, EHX,...). I could hit any type of rock from the '70s or '80s. It ranges from subtle to extreme. My only complaint is that recently, it broke. My guitar signal stayed unchainged, but I heard an unearthly flange-like hiss coming from my amp. I think that I just got a bad piece, as I have never had any trouble from MXR pedals in the past. So for that alone, I have to dock the pedal a point, much though I hate to do so.

    I love this flanger, it gets me all the places I need to go, from in-your-face flanging to subtle chorus. my only complaint is the power supply, the 18v adapter is excessively large and causes an unreasonable amount of problems interacting with my one-spot and my amp, usually resulting in some incredibly nasty feedback. other than that it takes a bit of tinkering to get used to the controls especially the subtle effect that the width and speed knobs have and how the taper on the manual knob seems a bit illogical. Flange on kids!

    This is a great pedal.Verry well built and clean. Out standing performance . This you cant do without ! great bang for the buck!MXR its just hard to beat!

    Yes, the M117R Effects Pedal will work with a bass. How good it sounds is strictly up to the player. You need to listen to one.
