Great for the price

I used these lights for stage lighting a dance performance with other effects. The lights were easy to set up in a DMX universe and responded well when running a complicated program timed with music.
Great Product That Could Use Minor Improvements

I bought four of these for backlighting at my youth group. When they arrived, I was initially concerned because our stage is relatively small, and these lights need to be very far away to have a good spread. (Not very good stage wash lights. At all) Instead, as the stage is in a corner, I put two in the middle and two on opposite ends and crossed each pair so it lit up the black back wall, and it is perfect. Plenty of ambient light with complete control over them. The amber LED does make a very big difference, worth the extra cost! Only things I don't like, IEC power connectors, I'm a guy that wishes PowerCon was on everything so I could build my own perfect length cables. (and they lock too! For stage lighting this should be a must!) and I didn't want to buy the Pro version for more than triple the price just for that. Also the DMX connections, while snug, do not lock either and are three pin. Which is technically not even DMX according to spec.

Will theses lights work with a remote and will they make a good orange?
I’m sorry, but no.
