Best quality strings
I've been buying these over the past year out of the 6 years that I've been playing and I don't plan on ever switching to any others. They have such rich and dark bass tones as well as bright and lively mids and treble. They allow each note of a chord or riff to be clearly heard making fantastic tones for any style or player. They last for quite a long time, retaining their tone. I like to use them for playing in alternate tunings such as dadgad, allowing me to bring out melodies where I want them. Over all fantastic strings for anyone looking for ways to improve their guitar quality

Dead in less than 12 hours? Lifeless
I've always heard great things about daddario and that the ej17 was the gold standard bluegrass string yadda yadda. Put a set on a new Martin hd28 and they sounded decent at first (although muddy and kind of neutral overall). I kept them on and played throughout the day and at a little jam that evening. After that i kept noodling around the house and all of a sudden the low e started sounding like a tub bass and the rest were just super bland and lifeless sounding. I honestly will never buy these again and couldn't recommended them to anyone who actually plays a decent amount.

I've been using Spanish style bronze acoustic strings for 54 years: D'Merle, D'Angelico, and D'Addario now from Guitar from Guitar Center. These strings have Amazing tone and timbre and feel and action. I wouldn't play an acoustic without them! Oh yeah, they mature and last until they let you know when...

Hands down the most fundamentally structured consumable alloy under tension for the sole purpose vibration in syncopation with rhythmic tendencies in accompany with an acoustic guitar. With a lifespan that rivals a tortoise, these strings have become one of my closest friends in a sea of happiness.

Love these strings. Great tone which mellows out after about a day. Only problem is with lots of playing you will need new strings probably within a month. They are worth it though. Once they get old they still sound pretty good for dead strings but for my D28 it really shines with fresh strings.

I've been using these strings for many years. They deliver just the right mix of brightness for clarity and warmth for fullness. I've experimented with many other brands and versions and always come back to the D'Addario Phosphor Bronze.
Definitely well worth it
