Overpriced With Poor Quality

The price point of this case is more in the $70.00 range, or even less. I was not impressed with the quality at all and immediately returned it the day after receiving it. The latches do not align properly and you are forced to tweak the top while closing and latching it. Once the guitar was inside it became even worse. You need to buy a separate lock and it needs to be very small as locking latches are not included. The chances of scratching the finish on your prized guitar are also very high with those sharp metal tangs sticking out of the lid while its open. Be very careful removing your guitar from the case as it will get immediate damage from contacting the latch tangs. The vinyl covering is about as thin as you can possibly get, so thin the staples have come through on some of these cases. I rejected the one in stock at the store because of this. Had I seen the issue with latch alignment, I would have never ordered the case and just spent a little more for something way better. The case also had hard glue residue on the fur in a couple of places, and that too will scuff the guitars finish if you don't clean it up. The odor was also a strong industrial chemical smell that would have made my Gretsch G5420T smell awful had I kept it. I was shocked that the vinyl covering was already peeling up at the edges near the bottom of the case, and you could see that it would just keep peeling itself back over time due to exposure. This just is not a very good case for the money, and I cannot recommend it for the selling price. Look into a dreadnought case from SKB, or something similar as they are only $10.00-$20.00 more. Most case dimensions are listed, or a store/online associate will assist you in finding a nice case that will work for your particular guitar.
