It could be designed better for easier installation and with a bigger claw to attach it to more devices on the drum set besides the drumhead rim.

I bought two of these and use them as splash cymbal Mounts, in between my crash cymbals by mounting them on my ride toms. they add so much more color and flavor to my performance for a great price and they have improved and enhanced the sound of my performances tremendously. easy to use and extremely portable and can fit in my cymbal bag pocket when gigging or between performances. great addition for an instant cymbal upgrade kit on a marginal set. Highly recommend this product.
