I recently purchased a Luna Fauna guitar for my wife. We were looking for her first guitar and she had some fairly demanding expectations on looks, tone and price. We looked around for many other guitars and found Luna guitars to be the best fit for her smaller frame and a decent tone for the price of the guitar. The volume of this guitar is not very strong, but the electronics make up for that. She loves the tuner on the preamp and the looks the most. The neck profile is built for a woman's hand, and though slightly thin for my taste, it fits her hands perfectly. The guiding factor of this guitar was certainly the looks, which are very intricate. It looks to be good quality and it should last us a long time. The factory says it has a lifetime warranty, so that is a good backup if anything goes wrong. Ours has both XLR and 1/4" outputs, which I thought was very nice, similar to some Ibanez guitars I have played. I recommend this guitar to any woman that is interested in a smaller size guitar with proportions to fit a female frame. They have a variety of options to fit almost any style and budget, and most importantly it makes my wife eager for me to teach her new things on "her" guitar! I don't think anyone would be confused when they walk in the studio as to which is "her" guitar, and she loves that.
