Sturdy and Solid Stands

Given the price, I wasn't expecting such a high quality pair of speaker stands. I confess, I'm only using them to hold relatively small and light speakers, but I'm sure these would do the job for as heavy as 150 lbs, as they're rated. The size of the base is adjustable to be quite large and stable, or more narrow to stay out of the way for lighter speakers like mine. I would buy these again in a heartbeat at full price and recommend them to anyone looking for good stands.

Try Before You Buy!!

Bought these for my very-standard Yamaha S112V unpowered speakers which I use for smaller events. The Proline stand shaft does NOT for into the hole on the bottom of the speaker. I took these stands to their first gig (with no backup...) and I had to force the speakers on top of the shafts for the speakers to descend 1/2 and inch. It was dangerously unstable and I'm lucky nothing happened. At the highest setting, the stand sways and does not appear stable. Needless to say, I was sweating bullets. At the end of the gig, I couldn't get the speakers off because the shafts were in too tight (they had descended about 1' into the speaker). I had to turn over the rig, get the speaker on the floor, and force the shaft out by yanking and moving the shaft back and forth. Kudos to Guitar Center for their understanding and quick, painless exchange. I bought the Yamaha speaker stands for a few dollars more but it was worth it.

Bought this to go with the PA that I bought at the same time that has two big 15" cabinets with horns on them. They weigh roughly 40-50lbs each and these stands hold them like a champ. Great if you're a DJ on the go that wants to mount your cabinets or if you're in a practice space and want them up higher or have limited floor space.

Stands are in use several times a week. I've attempted to find exact parts to replace the lost rubber end caps for the feet, but cannot find a telephone number for proline. Help! Proline should do something to prevent the foot caps from falling off during transport to gigs.

Are there parts available to repair the Proline LS-T2BK speaker Stand? The plastic connector holding the legs of the stand to the riser is cracked and I would like to replace it. I also need a new set of rubber feet for my stands.
