Nylon Core and Silver-Plated Copper Wrap Wire
At the heart of the 2406 strings are Ernie Ball's high-quality nylon filaments, prized for their ability to produce full, rich tone. The three bass strings feature a silver-plated copper wrap wire, which adds warmth, depth and resonance. Together, the nylon core and silver wrap wire produce balanced, articulate sound with shimmering highs and a solid low end. These materials also provide excellent tuning stability and long string life, even with heavy use.
Collaboration With Renowned Classical Guitarist Ernesto Palla
In developing the 2406 strings, Ernie Ball partnered with acclaimed classical guitarist Ernesto Palla to ensure an authentic playing experience. Palla's expertise and artistry were instrumental in crafting a string set able to inspire emotive, moving performances. The result is a premium classical guitar string that allows musicians to fully express themselves through their instrument.

Good 6,5 and 4th
The 6th,5th and 4th string are perfect, as most nylon strings the 3rd,2nd and 1st get out of tune often when played hard; however they still have a very good tone
Most Liked Negative Review
They sound good enough for the money.
I like these strings a lot. The wound strings sound okay the nylon strings sound really good. I've been playing them for 5 months and they are done. They randomly break when im not even playing. I never cut them so there was enough string for them to break a few times. It wasnt the same string every time though either the 5th broke a lot but they all broke at least once. Probably dont use them for performances.
