I love these mallets; they're hard enough to draw out plenty of sound without any clanking. Their tone is beautiful! They last a decent amount of time (about a year for a prolific player). I have broken a couple from playing too hard but that's a very rare occurence and I'm the only person I know who has done that. Highly recommend these to any marimba player.
