Awesome! Timesaver
I play and my two boys(10 & 11) are learning to play on their Squier strat jr's, but the tuners are junk and they got bent during an attempted burglary. Tired of changing strings for three, I found these and they installed easily after I drilled out the peg holes they just screwed right into the mounting holes already in the strat jr. I put light guage strings (9's) on the guitars and at first the B&E strings slipped no matter how hard I tightened but then I realized that on the E, B & G, I needed to leave some slack to give at least half a winding after cutting and before tension started to apply to the string; and after that, I had no trouble at all! Wow these things are awesome! This will save me so much time and so easy to use now that I've figured them out.

Sperzels are better
I have always been a Sperzel man, they say they are the best in the business and I think its true, I have them on every guitar I own except one, My Tele. I thought I would give these a try and although decent I want to list the Pros and cons.everything about these seem to be top notch as far as the 18 to 1 ratio string cutting go. However when stringing my Tele with 9-42 slinkys the B and High E string slipped out of the hole. I had the thumbscrew as tight as I could get It and even gently went a little more with pliers still It wouldn't hold the string. Maybe 10's would work. I am very disapointed in them and may return them. Sperzels cost about $20 more but IMO they are better.

These tuners came on a guitar I bought used recently. I thought they were like any other locking tuners until I restrung them. It's easy as 1, 2, 3. 1: Insert the string. 2: lock the tuner. 3: Tune-up; and that's it! The excess string gets clipped off effortlessly, though be careful not to lose the clippings fall on the floor.

Dropped right in on a Jackson guitar, string gauge 10-46. The auto trim feature is convenient. Massive improvement in tuning stability compared to stock Jackson tuners. No issues after 6 months.
