I had purchased Swerve for quite some time, when we discovered the Erithyritol in it gave my husband a pretty severe case of tinnitus. I don't care for the aftertaste of Stevia, so I thought I would try some Xylitol and hope for the best.
By biggest concern (as from if it would cause other side effects) was does this powder really dissolve fast? I use sweetener a good amount int colder recipes (like desserts), and the one time I accidentally tried regular Swerve instead of the confectioner's style, it gave my dessert a gritty quality.
Yes! Xylitol gave us sweetness and my husband no longer has tinnitus. This dissolves quickly and neatly into the colder recipes with no grittiness.
I think Xylitol is a shade less sweet than Erythritol, but I am able to compensate for it easily enough. In any case, I have made additional purchases of this brand because I am quite satisfied with the results.
