Product Description

For the past two years, high school security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) has been trying to show decorated detective James (Ice Cube) that he's more than just a video game junkie who's unworthy of James' sister. When Ben finally gets accepted into the police academy, James invites him on a ride-along designed to scare the hell out of him and ultimately demonstrate if Ben has what it takes to take care of his sister. But when the wild night leads them to the most notorious criminal in the city, James will find that his new partner's rapid-fire mouth is just as dangerous as the bullets speeding at it. Also starring John Leguizamo and Laurence Fishburne, Ride Along is an action-packed comedy with big thrills and even bigger laughs.

    This would have to be one of the top ten comedy's to come out for a long time. Storyline is fantastic and the actors performed at their best and what could you ask for more than this. A story that everyone can relate to when a family member sister wants a blessing in the family. So they put up with a some what boyfriend who is, well I'm not saying and a big brother who stands in their way of happiness. I know that it sounds like a lot of other movies but this one is different and grabs you by the hand not letting go, there are times you do and times you don't and boy does he get into trouble. A big brother cop and a little lover trying to prove he belongs in the family group will he be accepted or not now that is the answer, which I will leave up to you and let you decide I rated this an A grade plus for the thrills and errors that come about in the movie so now it's time to collect the popcorn gather up your movie retire to the lounge put your feet up and become engrossed in a fabulous night of entertainment of laughter and fun.     I liked this movie a lot more than I expected I would. Right until the end. The last maybe 15 to 20 minutes get really dumb even by a dumb action/comedy standard. It just felt different. Different pace and style and didn't feel like it was the same movie anymore. That said the rest of it was entertaining. Nothing too funny, I chuckled a few times, but it's just a dumb action/comedy and it does it well. You could do far worse. It was good enough that I'm looking forward for the sequel to come out to digital purchase.
