Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2015well made, well sized, and tightly sprung for quick aquisitioning them into action as well as replacing them back into their stealthy waiting to be used stance laying flat and out of harms way as well as out of my way but up or down these sights are the best fit for my AR/15 set-up with a see through riser placing my scope just above these sights so I can leave them up all the time but prefer to have them in the down position unless SHTF and they need to be in the ready! If you need a good set of back ups or just want a good decent priced well made sights then these are just the sights you want. I went through many sights all of which turned out to NOT be what I wanted and then I came across these sights by FIELD SPORT INC with their lock and spring action and was sold when I saw them but still being pessimistic waited until I recieved them and WOW was I right in buying this set of front/rear flip up spring assisted sights!! They have proved themselves on the range hold their zero and do not flip up when firing as I read in another review. If you over tighten them they will be slow to pop up and not lock back down into place accurately so only tighten until snug using lock-tite and they will be perfect!! I cant stress how well these sights are so all I can say is I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and say its great when its great, goog when its good and crap is its crap and these are great!! Just remember to not over tighten the sights but snugly tighten using lock-tite to keep them set and you too will be amazed at how great a full set (front AND rear) of well made sights can be bought and sold so inexpensivley.I use the word inexpensive because these are not cheap they are inexpensive. Cheap means crappy get what you pay for kind of stuff but inexpensive means well made great product sold at an unbelievable price. I wish I knew how to upload pics of the sights on my AR/15 to this review so you can see what Im raving about and why you too should not wait to buy these but pull that trigger and get a set or two or three for your selves now!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2013If you are wanting a top shelf product, you are on the wrong page. If you are looking for a range toy set of backups in case you forget the batteries for your red dot, then you have found the right page. These are nice little sights that are working pretty good on my ar 15 5.56. seem to hold zero pretty well and pop up without a problem. A little bulky and not the most aesthetically appealing product so if you are super concerned with looks, find something else. As far as the use of this ar they are fine and I wouldn't mind having a few more of these as backups for a just in case. As I stated earlier, if you are looking for top line products, don't buy cheap and gripe about it later, know what you are getting into. These are great little sights for the price and do everything they are supposed to do with 2-300 rounds down the pipe. Gave 4 stars simply because of looks but functionality is just what I expected.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2015Great set of sights for the price. Flip-up springs are robust and the sight doesn't wiggle at all when deployed. Appear easy to adjust for windage/elevation (windage done by fingerwheel, elevation requires standard A2 FSB tool). The bases secure SOLIDLY to the picatinny rail, and the sights feel secure when in the "down" position as well. The small aperture is REALLY small, especially coming from the Magpul polymer BUIS's, but it's usable and the larger aperture is a great fit.
Only two issues I found, both of which come with the "$20 pair of flip sights" territory, are that the rear sight will not lock down while the aperture is folded back, and as a result the aperture needs to be reset to first position before collapsing the rear sight. Second, the button must be pushed to both release the sights from, and return them to, the down position (no easy-push-down like on the magpuls).
Great set of sights, they'll do nicely for a plinker or range gun, and I expect them to do VERY well on an AR-platform tool when name-brand isn't as important as functionality on a low budget.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2013I took a chance with these as they seem to be well made and well priced compare to the popular Magpul or even UTG ones. I needed something on my flat-top AR to serve as backup iron sights.
I like the fact that there are metal instead of polymer like the other ones. Push button up\down are pretty crisp but not overly stiff. Both front and back are adjustable. Although I haven't done for the front so don't know how easy it is. Looks like you need a tool to do it.
The reasons I only gave it 3 stars are:
1. they do not fold down totally flat. The springs keep the flip-down part up just slightly. (See pictures). Not quite in the way of things, but just enough to be annoying. It's possible to get snagged on clothing or straps.
2. The rear sight is a little more annoying because you have to keep the small aperture piece pointed up when the sight is in down position, because there is not enough room to turn it out of the way. Again, it's not causing major problems but a little annoying to me. I expected it to completely fold away, not with a piece sticking up.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2014These little flip up sights are solid metal, and very positively lock in place both up and down. I found that mine didn't even need adjustment once installed, and were already exactly cowitnessed to my reflex sight at 25 yards for my pistol caliber carbine. The rear sight has both a large and small hole peep sight, while the front uses an AR style square post. Adjusting the front sight will require an AR front sight tool, but I didn't find that to be necessary.
They're nice and compact and don't add too much bulk to the gun. I like that they use flush allen screws to mount rather than a big chunky finger screw, and when they're down, they're nicely out of the way. They do sit a bit high, so if you want to cowitness them to a smaller sight, you may need to use a riser, but otherwise they do what they're needed for quite nicely for their price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars
Made in China but seems to be good quality. Good price and seem sturdy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent cheap aluminium backup sights.
Front sight locks upright tightly, rear has some wiggle. Clicks seem positive, but aren’t super tight. Rear sight cannot be folded flat unless large apperture is selected. Chamfer on small aperture seems to be backwards, it faces you, when it should face away.

4.0 out of 5 stars a good deal
Finally, something cheap that works as advertised. Rear is a little wonky as the small peep sits up when stowed but they do work and are cheap.
