    I would give this 100 stars, but could only give it 5.Excellent introduction to some classic Irish Music as only Daniel O' Donnell can sing it. You cannot be in a bad state of mind and listen to this music, you will be singing, clapping and dancing along. A wonderful way to spend a few hrs of your day. It is a must have for any Daniel O'Donnell fan, or anyone who loves Irish Music, young or old.

    If you want to hear a sample of the songs, see the 2009 import, which seems to be identical, & at least as of now, contains samples.

    I noticed how much some of these melodies & arrangements sounded like country song melodies & arrangements, so I wonder which of these explanations is the most appropriate:

    * American country music had many Irish roots.
    * D O'D chose to record Irish songs most similar to country music.
    * He took Irish songs & had them arranged like country music.
