-Unplug the heating blanket from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds.
-Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating blanket.
-Verify the connection between the heating blanket and the controller is tight.
-Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or extension cord.
-Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional.
-Try plugging the heating blanket into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet.

We bought this blanket in the gray color and received it on Feb. 18th. It is now April 9th and it already doesn't work. I LOVED this blanket because it is a nice weight, not to heavy but just enough.....and it is super soft....REALLY soft. But it didn't last even 2 months. SO DISAPPOINTED!

cold spots
I had it on for a hour and it has cold spots and does not heat up much at all.

Stopped working after 3 weeks
Loved this blanket until one side stopped heating up. We only used it for about 3 weeks. Hoping to get a replacement.

So happy with this blanket!
This blanket is plush and soft, like nothing I have ever felt. It is a little heavy so in a way I feel like I have a bit of a "weighted blanket" effect too. I love the controls, so much more advanced than any of my previous sunbeam blankets (this is my 3rd in 25 years). The digital readout is nice and dimly lit so it does not bother me in the dark. It will take some time to get used to which button does what in the dark though. The buttons are easy to press which is way better than the clunky dial that I have had on my two previous blankets (and is still available and nothing wrong with it, I just like this much better!). Preheat is an awesome feature as well as turning off after 9 hours, since I do sometimes worry that I forget to do that in the morning. I also now know how worn out my old one was, this one gets SO much warmer SO much quicker! My only tiny complaint would be the material is a little "slippery", so my comforter slides off the bed easily.

Awesome blanke
Love this blanket. I love that it has a preheat setting to heat up the bed quick and it does a great job. Even to just lay on top of it while watching a move it is nice and warm. Great purchase.

WORST BLANKET EVER!
This was our 2nd Sunbeam electric blanket and this second blanket failed within 6 months of purchase, just like the first one. Sunbeam is the worst company for Customer Service and they told me to send it in to them for service. The shipping alone, would be expensive. Don't buy Sunbeam.....
