I live in Port Townsend so this was a story close to home for me. She’s a good writer, engaging and has an interesting story to tell. It’s being passed around now and everyone gives it high marks.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2011I bought this disc for my wife who loves James Galway. She is in raptures over it and claims it to one of the most beautiful discs Sir Jame Galway has produced
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2014This CD is the ultimate in relaxation music. It does not have the big production numbers of other Galway CD's. The sound is simple, clear, and crisp illustrating the original simplicity of the music. I especially love it when I am painting and giving free rein to my thoughts for new ideas or whatever I am working on at the time. For quiet times, soothing background music, or just because you love Galway music, buy this CD.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2013It's James Galway what's not to like? I like flute music and his interpretations of Celtic folk melodies. Highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2013Great cd. love the beautiful tunes and happy songs. Being a great fan of the rennaissance this cd is awesome!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2016James Galaway at his best...beautiful!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2002This isn't James Galway's most virtuosic CD, but it is still absolutely beautiful and magic...about .1% percent of the time it's a little dull, but the other 99.9% is truly beautiful. I think my favorite thing about this CD is its utter peacefulness and the fluttery, angelic sound of the flute. The Irish classics on this CD don't just have flute accompaniment; there are many other instruments that combine to really make this an "Irish" album. In particular, I really enjoyed the drums, the pipes (can't get enough of them!!!) and the alto flute (slightly more mellow-sounding than the usual flute). Favorites of mine on this CD include a very "soulful" renedition of "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen" and "Carrickfergus." OK, so you may not like this CD if you're a huge fan of rap music (or anything equally "anti-relaxation"...but Irish music fans, this one's for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars
