Very pleased with CD! Sound quality excellent. Piece is my favorite Mozart. This CD brings out the best of Mozart's excellent music. It goes beyond my expectations!!!

This 3 disk cd package is excellent in every way: excellent, luminous performances; excellent sound quality; and a great price. Does it get any better than this? I have any number of performances of these wonderful symphonies, performances by Bernstein, Von Karajan, Mackerras, among others. The Marriner performances compare favorably with any of them.

Very nice collection of Mozart symphonies.

In a few short words very pleased with these recordings. I had a choice of three for my budget. Two had opinions at opposite ends of the spectrum: heavy slow to light truncated which may or may not have really mattered. This one had a very neutral opinion. Knowing what I know about the music of Mozart and the reputation of Neville Marriner/AOSMITF I was sure these would do Mozart proud and to my preconceived notions. These recordings are at the proper times... well... Mozartian: light lush energetic vivacious stately dramatic as I anticipated perhaps even more so. These last six symphonies are Mozart's most well known. I only have the last two which is the bare minimum must for anyone to have and really wanted all six. I also chose this recording because of the extra #34 and the addition to #37 actually composed by Michael Haydn and eliminated from the Mozart catalog plus an incidental minuet so more bang for my buck. If one wants Mozart's symphonies for their music library these are all one needs doesn't matter what orchestra or conductor but one could not go wrong with these.
