Missile Defense 3-D makes innovative use of the Sega Master System's light gun by situating players on a space station and having them shoot down nuclear missiles being fired by two world powers at war. The game also takes nice advantage of the system's SegaScope 3-D glasses, which bring the errant missiles coming toward you to vivid life. Gameplay is divided into three stages: missiles being launched from the missile base, missiles on the way to their target, and missiles approaching one of the cities.
