Set 10 years after the tumultuous events from the original Capcom game, Lost Planet 2 finds the formerly frozen world being transformed into tropical jungles and arid deserts. The gigantic, insect-like creatures, the Akrid, have also adapted to the changes. The action is viewed from a third-person perspective as you engage the Akrid on foot or from within a more expansive variety of armored Vital Suits.
