Returning for a second lap on the PlayStation 2, Gallop Racer 2003: A New Breed once again challenges players to take the reins of horse stable management. A mandatory tutorial walks players through the various aspects of this equestrian-themed sports game, of which the actual races are but one aspect of play. The race itself is composed of three segments, each offering a slightly different gameplay mechanic and requiring a different strategy.
