Tecmo's innovative trap-setting strategy series returns to once again let players get a little evil in Deception IV: Blood Ties. Gamers take on the role of Laegrinna, said to have been created by a fragment of the Devil's soul, as she and her three demons attempt to lure human victims into her castle to torture, humiliate, and slaughter them and collect their souls. Laegrinna has no physical means to attack, so players must strategically place pitfalls around a variety of stage grids, each with unique features and terrain, and then activate their traps at the proper time.
