Kirby Super Star is a platformer that offers eight games in one cartridge, including seven different modes and several subgames. As with other Kirby games, players control the character, who floats around the screen inhaling enemies in order to gain their attacks and abilities. This is the first in the series to introduce Helpers, which are enemies-turned-allies that can be controlled by the computer or by an additional player.
