Intestinal worms, whether Roundworms or Tapeworms, can pose a potentially serious health threat to your dogs if left untreated, so regular worming (every 3 months) is a necessity. In order to survive and multiply within the internal environment of your dog, worms will feed on the blood and content of the gut, with some laying dormant for up to a year within the muscle tissue, depositing an unprecedented number of eggs every day. This can lead to unpleasant symptoms of sickness, loss of appetite, diarrhoea and excessive bottom cleaning, however, sometimes worms are not accompanied by any diagnostic symptoms.
