One end of the supplied outdoor rated cable should be attached to your current master socket (linebox) or another extension socket using the supplied IDC tool, the cable should then be clipped into place and run to the location where you would like your new BT extension socket. The wire should then be cut to length and connected to the new BT extension socket. As this is an outdoor kit, the cable can be run externally, two brick buster plates are supplied with the kit which cover drilled brickwork where a cable enters or exits the exterior of a building.
