Polyester Basecoat car paint is the original paint used on many cars from new, this paint can be applied over cellulose or 2k acrylic primer and is suitable for both air dry and low bake. basecoat paint dries matt and requires a top coat of 1k or 2k acrylic Lacquer giving the material a depth of gloss, our HS 2k acrylic lacquer gives a very high gloss finish from the gun if applied correctly. It is also very durable - scratch - oil & petrol resistant, Mixing Ratio: 1 parts paint - 1 Part 2k / Basecoat thinners.
