Icom's new fixed VHF DSC has been designed with simplified technical features making it a great value entry level VHF, with a large full dot-matrix screen to display information clearly and easy to use keypad and knobs it is simple for everyone to use. Fully compliant with the latest Class D DSC specifications, the Icom M323 has a built-in watch function to check for activity on channel 70, while receiving on another channel, as well as being able to perform all the other DSC functions including: distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety and DSC test calls. You can connect the M323 to your GPS using the normal NMEA 0183 connections, this will then show your current position and time on the VHF display and when you receive information from another vessel's DSC the M323 will transfer the information to your GPS.
