Sucker Punch Productions' open-world action series full of superpowers and parkour-like acrobatics returns with a new protagonist and a new setting in Infamous: Second Son. Set seven years after the "good" conclusion of Infamous 2 marked the end of Cole MacGrath, Second Son puts players in control of Delsin Rowe, an aimless 25-year-old graffiti artist who discovers he can mimic the abilities of other superpowered conduits, and uses his newfound skills to rebel against the oppressive Department of Unified Protection (DUP), which was created to imprison all conduits.

While the first two games in the series were set in the fictional cities of Empire City (New York) and New Marais (New Orleans), Second Son is set in a locked-down version of Seattle, complete with early morning fog, frequent rain, and the iconic Space Needle.
