Novartis Sentinel is the only oral medication that prevents both heartworm disease and fleas, with additional protection against the three most common intestinal worms: roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. Breaks the life cycle of fleas at both the egg and larval stages, and it also kills heartworm larvae before clinical signs can occur. The concurrent use of an approved adulticide such as Capstar may be needed depending on the severity of the flea infestation.
