Designed to follow the events portrayed in the Disney feature film Atlantis: The Lost Empire, this GBA game offers players the chance to explore familiar locales as the movie's protagonist, Milo Thatch. Chosen to lead an undersea expedition in search of the fabled city of Atlantis, Milo soon runs into a host of problems, the likes of which can only be solved by navigating a series of levels in side-scrolling platform style. Contrary to his studious nature, the young intellectual is capable of performing a selection of athletic maneuvers that include running, jumping, swinging, and climbing; all of which will be required if he's to surmount the obstacles that litter the ten levels of play.
