Traditionally, Barcelona has good jazz Big Band and swing bands Since the early seventies to the present, there have been many musicians and arrangers of the city that have been seduced by the power and versatility characteristics of this type of line up. But so far, none of them had done it with the will to point to blues and rhythm and blues. The Barcelona Big Blues Band, under the direction of bassist Ivan Kovacevic, combines a group of good musicians that create an energetic sound as well as wild and sophisticated.
