Ryse: Son of Rome puts players in the boots of the soldier Marius Titus as he embarks on a quest to avenge the death of his family and restore glory to Rome. Players follow Titus as he grows from a typical soldier into the head of the Roman army, dispatching Barbarian foes with brutal quick-time attacks, using motion controls to fire projectiles, and issuing voice commands to give orders, rally troops, and offer motivation. The action takes gamers from the far reaches of Britannia to the heart of Rome itself, and a separate multiplayer mode lets them battle in the Coliseum.
